Job Summary: The Account Assistant is responsible for implementing and carrying out the daily bookkeeping of the regular accounting transactions.


Compensation & Benefits: Negotiable


Reporting To: Finance Manager – Head Office, Team Quest


Tenure: 2 years (renewable)

Professional Pre-requisites:

  • 1 year of experience in accounting
  • Knowledge of Taxes and VAT
  • Familiar with any accounting software
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Documentation skills to maintain institutional knowledge.

 

Preferences:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management (preferred in specialization in accounting).

 

Major Areas of Responsibility:

  • Need to prepare daily sales report and record it
  • Entry of E-VAT and E-TDS in the website of Inland Revenue
  • Petty cash expenses: allocation, monitoring, entry and reporting
  • Makes payment entries and entries of cheque in the software
  • Prepare monthly tax reports, payment & submission at IRD
  • Reconciliation of Banks, Debtors/Creditors & others.
