Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, hotel policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
  • Process and manage payroll and employee benefits.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounting department.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
