Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and examine financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Monitor and manage cash flow and banking transactions.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Develop and implement efficient accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
