Job Description:

We are looking for an accountant for our restaurant and trading firm;

• Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and expense reports. Must manage inventories, do regular banking works, and make proper reporting to the higher authorities.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis. Ensure that financial reports comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
• Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliation of bank statements, accounts, and transactions to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget variances and provide analysis to support decision-making.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax filings. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support as needed. Ensure that audit findings are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data analysis.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and recommend solutions to streamline operations and improve accuracy.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to support business objectives and facilitate decision-making.

Job Specification:

• Need to have good experience working with accounting software
• Good experience with nepal banking system
• Knowledge and experience for trading firm accounting 
• Good knowledge with latest import & budget system
• Fast at data entry.
