Position: Admin and Finance Assistant (Full time)
Duty Station: RPN Nepal, Baluwatar, Kathmandu
Salary: As per the organization’s rule.
Duration of Initial Contract: 1 year with possibility of extension based on performance.
Job Summary: The Admin and Finance Assistant will be responsible for providing assistance in overall financial management, including book-keeping, maintenance of financial records, and administrative, operational, and logistics support to the project team for the effective running of project activities.
Duties and responsibilities:
Finance
- Support Finance and Admin Officer in keeping track of the day-to-day finances.
- Review vouchers of RPN Nepal.
- Review all the supporting documents of the vouchers to ensure they are justifiable in line with the approved budget.
- Make cash and bank deposits.
- Complete monthly bank reconciliation.
- Maintain financial records and files.
- Collect information and documentation related to finance, administration, and logistics.
- Assist auditors in carrying out internal and external audits.
- Maintain liaison with Social Security Fund, Inland Revenue Office, and Bank for required tasks.
Admin & logistic support
- Manage personal files and leave records of staff.
- Support in documentation and procurement processes.
- Support in other admin related office work assigned by Finance Officer/Finance Manager, Program Manager and Executive Director.
- Maintain assets register for office equipment and furnishings.
- Support the administrative works in the office including but not limited to the organizational renewals, seeking official approvals, delivering letters and other items to the targets etc.
- Provide logistic arrangements for organizing events inside or outside of the office.
- Maintain the store and keep track of the records of the stocks received and disbursed.
- Additional responsibilities will be assigned as per the requirements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a similar field. Or +2/intermediate level with minimum of 1 year of experience in the fields of administration, management, and finance.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages.
- Good knowledge and fluency in both oral and written English and Nepali languages.
- Ability to work in a team and have a teamwork spirit.
- Ability to organize and complete assignments within deadlines.
- Ability to work long hours if required.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- High integrity and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Capable of frequently traveling to remote locations as needed.
- Priority will be given to candidates with a valid driving license for two-wheelers.
