Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain robust and scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and improvements
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production and provide timely solutions
• Work closely with front-end developers to integrate the backend functionality with the user interface
• Implement security measures and best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data
• Optimize application performance and scalability through proper caching, load balancing, and other techniques
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software development, and continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and frameworks to improve the development process
• Mentor junior developers and help them grow their skills and expertise in Java and Spring Boot development
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospective meetings
• Maintain code quality by writing automated tests, conducting code reviews, and adhering to coding standards and best practices.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in Java and Spring Boot development
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Hands-on experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices
• Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
