  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. An additional MBA degree will be considered an added advantage.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a software developer, DevOps engineer and system engineer
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software system analysis and design.  
  • Demonstrated leadership experience of 5 years or more in information management for ISP/Telecom/Large Enterprise or MNO, showcasing a proven track record of success. 
  • A thorough grasp of software development tools, methodologies, system and security management, various operating systems, enterprise software, database management systems, computing, data center operations, cloud computing and related technologies. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various operating systems, software applications, database management, data centers, and cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure monitoring, management, and automation tools, including crisis, incident, and problem management processes, along with security measures.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic technology plans that align with business goals.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring, developing and hiring technology professionals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing technology budgets and resources.
  • Proven ability to excel in dynamic, and competitive environments, with a focus on achieving results.
  • Willingness to travel within Nepal as required and preference given to candidates with international exposure; Nepalis currently working abroad are encouraged to apply.

 

Job Description

  • Develop and execute forward-thinking information system strategies to align with the company’s vision and enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and competitive advantage, including the formulation of an annual plan and budget. 
  • Establish and enforce IT standards and policies for regulatory compliance, including access control, data protection, and oversee organizational information management systems and security protocols in alignment with industry standards and regulations. 
  • Lead internal software teams to implement business-aligned solutions, overseeing the website, mobile app, email systems, ERP, and other information management systems.
  • Identify and integrate third-party software solutions and applications with internally developed applications.
  • Manage the IT lifecycle by assessing and overseeing hardware and networking equipment to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of internal IT systems and office automation systems. Enhance and secure IT systems and processes for efficiency, security, and reliability, supporting employee productivity through software guidance and issue resolution.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, exploring opportunities to implement new applications with ML and AI projects to drive efficiency and service enhancements. 
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. 
  • Conduct and oversee periodic training to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively utilize software, technology and tools, promoting continuous learning.
