Civil Engineer & Surveyor (Hydropower Construction & Operation)

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys and manage the collection of field data related to hydropower construction projects.
- Design and oversee the implementation of civil engineering plans, including the construction of dams, tunnels, and other hydropower-related structures.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure the successful execution of hydropower projects.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of construction activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team during the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and review technical reports, designs, and drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Perform quality control inspections and ensure that all work adheres to project specifications.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential challenges during construction and operation.
- Manage and maintain surveying equipment and ensure the accuracy of all survey data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; a Master's degree will be an added advantage.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- More than 5 years of experience in civil engineering and surveying, specifically in hydropower projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and safety standards related to hydropower.
- Proficient in the use of surveying instruments and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Total Station, SWDTM, GIS).
- Be able to plot cross-section of tunnel and quantity analysis.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to stay and work at project sites.
