Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed road construction plans, including drawings, cost estimates, and technical specifications.
- Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with design plans, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Manage manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet project goals.
- Conduct field surveys and investigations, and ensure engineering solutions align with technical and environmental standards.
- Work closely with contractors, consultants, government officials, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures for materials and construction techniques.
- Prepare and track project budgets, ensuring costs are within the approved limits.
- Identify potential risks or issues and provide solutions to mitigate them.
- Prepare progress reports, and update stakeholders on project milestones, challenges, and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E.) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in road construction projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software.
- Strong knowledge of highway and road construction techniques.
- Experience with surveying tools and equipment.
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Note: The job location is Basundhara, Kathmandu with the possibility of frequent travel to all over Nepal.
