Duration: One year with possibility of extension till the end of the Project (Project Completion 31st Dec. 2026).

Duty Station: Project Site, Rasuwa Nepal with travel as required by the work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Design Chief Engineer and section lead engineer for filed design department.
• Monitor and evaluate the environment and health relevant performance deliverables of the Subcontractors and ensure compliance to the Lender’s performance standards.
• Ensure the Subcontractors environment and health undertakings to the legal compliance.
• Stakeholder engagement.
• Environment and health risk assessment and mitigation.
• Periodically audit the Subcontractors environment and health performance and take immediate corrective actions.
• Develop the environment and health strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

Essentials:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. RCC, steel design and building design etc.
• Proven working experience of minimum 3 years in similar works, capacity and organization.
• Managing interfaces with machinal and electrical etc.
• Proactive with strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities. 
• Knowledge and experience in international standards for civil design.
• Ability to discuss and convenience the Client, OE (Owner’s Engineer) and the subcontractors.

Key Skills Required: The candidate should have good analytical, leadership, English communication and writing skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at reviewing design documents, managing interfaces with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, etc.), and performing field troubleshooting.
