Job Description
- Manage and lead the claims team, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure consistent high performance
- Develop and implement streamlined processes and procedures to improve claims handling efficiency and customer experience
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and best practices
- Analyze claims data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex claims issues
- Maintain updated knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to non-life insurance claims
- Manage reserves and settlements within designated authority limits, escalating larger claims appropriately.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on department activities and performance metrics.
- Direct the entire process of claims, including evaluation, investigation, negotiation, and settlement
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements throughout the claims handling process to mitigate risks and maintain compliance.
