Evaluation Criteria:
- Proven experience (minimum five years) as a professional photographer, videographer and storyteller with a portfolio demonstrating quality service and experience withI/NGOs, government, or the private sector.
- At least 5 years of experience working in remote parts of the country and willingness to travel to remote areas.
- Proficiency in digital photography equipment and editing software and ownership of such equipment and software.
- Strong understanding of community sensitivity regarding caste, gender, equity, age groups, cultures, and religions in different regions of Nepal.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and program participants.
Required Submissions:
- A cover letter demonstrating the skills and experience highlighted above
- List of available equipment and software (e.g., camera, tripod, drone, gimbal, voice recording equipment, editing software and hardware, backups).
- A minimum of 3 reference letters from previous clients.
- Price quotation of per day rate for one person.
Other conditions: While the photographer/videographer retains credit, Helen Keller will hold the copyright for all materials. Potential photography activities include documenting community participation, voices, frontline workers, success stories, and case studies. For field visits, Helen Keller will manage transportation and provide accommodation and daily subsistence allowance as per the organization's rules.
