Other Specification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of teaching experience at the college level or in professional training programs, with a focus on cybersecurity and related fields. 

 

Technical Skills: 

  • Proficiency in cryptographic algorithms and techniques, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption (DES, AES, RSA). 
  • In-depth knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including digital signatures, certificates, certification authorities, and registration authorities. 
  • Understanding of web security protocols (IPSec, SSL, HTTPS), email security standards (OpenPGP, S/MIME), and data protection methods (file encryption, access control, data backup). 
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies and hypervisors, various types of virtualizations (server, network, storage), and their applications. 
  • Expertise in Linux operating systems, and experience with essential security tools for penetration testing and ethical hacking. 
  • Strong grasp of vulnerability assessment techniques, including penetration testing, use of vulnerability scanners, and security management practices. 
  • Knowledge of authentication mechanisms, password management strategies, IP addressing (IPv4, IPv6), and access control techniques. 
  • Familiarity with using common Cybersecurity associated tools like Cisco Packet Tracer, John the Ripper, Wireshark, Autopsy, and more. 

 

Soft Skills: 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address student queries and cybersecurity challenges.
