Position Summary
The Dy. Factory Manager is ultimately accountable for the performance of the unit and should lead a team through the project life cycle by planning, budgeting, scheduling and tracking a project plan. Also responsible for running the unit on a day-to-day basis, assuring provision, evaluation and monitoring of quality services, and mentoring and training the staff.
Major Roles And Responsibilities (Job Details):
- Managing Overall Plant Operations, Engineering, Quality, Safety, Environment, Logistics, Purchase & Finance Functions.
- Coordinating internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation and develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Plant Management, Maintenance & Cost Control.
- Leading Capex & New Project implementation.
- Budgeting, Production, Process & Equipment Selection, Managing Top line & Bottom line, Erection & Commissioning,
- Leading Plant to achieve the Production & Sales Target, Formulating & Implementing Strategies for Achieving Annual Business Goals for the Division.
- Managing Overall Operations of the unit Enhancing the Production Process Operations, Improving Productivity & Operational Efficiencies.
- Laying down SOP/Guidelines for Safety of Manpower & Machines as Per Standards Norms.
- Coordinating with Various Functions; Ensuring Optimum Utilization of the Resources & Implementing & Maintaining the Quality Management Systems.
- Ensuring complete in-Process Quality Control & Continuous improvement in Process Capabilities.
- Conducting Preventive Maintenance, Foreseeing Performance Bottlenecks & Taking Corrective Measures to avoid Breakdown.
- Vendor Identification/Development, Resource Management & Analytical Assessment to Strengthen Effectiveness.
- Responsible for all Compliances & Norms as Per Excise & Other Regulatory Bodies.
- Leading Teams towards the Achievement of Organizational Goals & industry Best Practices.
- Overseeing Industrial Relations, Complete Recruitment, Selection, Orientation & Training Processes.
- Managing the Complete liasioning with Government Departments & ensuring the smooth functioning of the Plant.
