Job Summary: The Deputy General Manager (DGM), MEP, will oversee the planning, design, and implementation of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for hotel construction and renovation projects. This role involves managing MEP teams, ensuring project compliance with quality and safety standards, and coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Responsibilities:

•  Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of all MEP systems for hotel construction and renovation projects.
•  Manage and lead MEP teams, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and within specified timelines.
•  Develop and review MEP project plans, specifications, and budgets in collaboration with project managers and other stakeholders.
•  Ensure all MEP systems comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
•  Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems into overall project designs.
•  Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
•  Identify and resolve any issues related to MEP systems that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
•  Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize MEP system performance and efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering; Master’s degree
  preferred.
•  Proven experience (10-12 years) in managing MEP systems for construction and
  renovation projects, preferably in the hospitality industry.
•  Strong knowledge of MEP design principles, materials, and installation methods.
•  Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
•  Proficiency in design and project management software and tools.
