DIC Operator/Data Collector

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Registration of clients who visit to clinics.
  • Obtain and maintain information from the clients like their name, age, address and which type of visit they are doing (1st or follow up) in the registration form.
  • Accompany the clients willing to receive HTC/STI from the registration room to the clinic room.
  • Make an assurance of client-friendly, comfortable, informative and confidential DIC; by providing waiting clients with reading materials like: newspaper, magazines, strategic behavioral communication (SBC) materials. Along with reading materials provide clients with different informative games.
  •  Conduct interactive sessions in DIC, conduct online outreach, conduct creative/edutainment activities with clients using audio, visuals and digital SBC materials.
  •  Promote Merosathi from social media platforms and participate in social media campaigns and follow-up appointment missed clients and offer for community-led testing for HIV in the community coordinating with community-based supporters.
  •  Coordinate with health assistant to verify the number of clients referred using ledger and diaries.
  •  Maintain entry register, record of MeroSathi and client’s information.
  • Regular data-entry of the first-visit form and follow-up form for Prevention team in ONHIS in coordination with HIV Prevention Officer/Program Specialist.

 

Duty Station: Koshi province (Itahari, Birtamod).

 

Minimum Qualification:

  • Minimum SLC/SEE passed from recognized Institute with minimum 3 years’ experience in PEPFAR supported HIV/AIDS, STI prevention program.

 

Preferences:

  • Preference will be given for the candidates from KPs and linkages with network of KPs.
  • Knowledge of MS word, PowerPoint, excel, email& Internet and ability of using various social media applications.
  • Knowledge of local languages will be beneficial.
  •  Local and female candidate will be given priority.
  •  Advantage of two wheelers driving license holder.
  • Flexibility of working in off-hours (beyond standard office time) as needed.
