Qualification and experiences:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Disaster Management, Environmental Studies, Social Work, or related fields.
- Experience of 3-5 years in DRR, community-based disaster management, or related fields with a focus on inclusivity.
- Experience with monitoring, evaluation, and reporting in DRR or community development projects is preferred.
- Experience of working with multiple project partners simultaneously such as government, development partners, DRM related stakeholders and OPDs. Experience in project reporting, documentation and dissemination. Strong project management skills with experience in MEAL processes and community mobilization.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of inclusive DRR policies and accessibility standards, particularly in working with marginalized groups and OPDs.
Assignment: 30% office-based work, including coordination and reporting, and 70% fieldwork, including supervision and backstopping (subject to modification as per program requirements).
