Duration: One year with possibility of extension till the end of the Project (Project Completion 31st Dec. 2026).

Duty Station: Project Site, Rasuwa Nepal with travel as required by the work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Senior Environment and Social Manager for the compliant environment and health deliverables.
• Monitor and evaluate the environment and health relevant performance deliverables of the Subcontractors and ensure compliance to the Lender’s performance standards.
• Ensure the Subcontractors environment and health undertakings to the legal compliance.
• Stakeholder engagement.
• Environment and health risk assessment and mitigation.
• Periodically audit the Subcontractors environment and health performance and take immediate corrective actions.
• Develop the environment and health strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

Essentials:

• Bachelor’s degree in environment science, public health, management or related field from reputed institution. 
• Proven working experience of minimum 5 years in similar works, capacity and organization. Candidate with the similar work experience in the international organization or donor agencies is desired.
• Proactive with strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities. 
• Knowledge and experience in IFC performance standards.
• Ability to discuss and convenience the community, workers and the subcontractors.
