Job Description:

  • Develop and deliver curriculum for Senior School Environmental Science courses in alignment with educational standards and objectives.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage students and promote active learning in the classroom.
  • Incorporate hands-on laboratory experiments, field trips, and outdoor activities to enhance students' understanding of environmental science concepts.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore and discuss environmental issues.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback on student assignments, projects, and assessments to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate environmental science concepts across disciplines and promote interdisciplinary learning.
  • Stay informed about current developments and trends in environmental science education, and incorporate relevant topics into the curriculum.
  • Supervise and support student-led environmental initiatives, clubs, and projects.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding students' progress and academic performance.
  • Participate in professional development activities and seek opportunities for continuing education to enhance teaching skills and expertise.
