Job Description:
- Provide dynamic leadership across all core functions of MAN under the guidance of the Executive Board.
- Offer strategic oversight and direction for the organization.
- Foster a culture of leadership and team building within MAN.
- Oversee the implementation of executive policies and programs. Manage MAN's budget effectively.
- Develop and implement human resource plans for optimal staffing.
- Monitor and supervise ongoing activities and ensure smooth operations.
- Spearhead membership development and engagement initiatives.
- Oversee the development and delivery of training programs.
- Champion research and consulting services offered by MAN.
- Manage negotiations and foster strong national and international relations.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with government and private sector entities.
- Manage program planning and implementation at national, regional, and local levels. Lead project management and facilitation initiatives.
- Oversee publications management.
- Develop and manage proposals for funding and partnerships.
- Create and implement contemporary programs based on national and international management issues.
- Ensure effective coordination, communication, and reporting across the organization. Demonstrate strong educational institution administration and management skills. Manage meetings and prepare accurate minutes.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Management, Economics, or a closely related field from a reputable university.
- Minimum 10 years' experience with a proven track record in managing training programs, consulting services, and research activities.
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage all day-to-day operations of MAN in accordance with its constitution and bylaws.
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate MAN members for active participation in professional networking activities.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and organizing training programs.
- A strong advocate for promoting research and consulting activities within the organization.
- Experience in securing and managing a pool of qualified academic and professional resources for training programs, consulting services, and Executive MBA programs.
Age:
- Between 35 and 50 years old (experience in a related field is preferred).
Compensation and Benefits:
- An attractive salary package with benefits as per the organization's rules and regulations. Compensation may be negotiated based on the candidate's expertise and experience.
Term of Employment:
- Two (2) year term with an initial probation period of three (3) months. Renewal is subject to satisfactory performance.
