Employee Contract Type: Local – Intern (Fixed Term) (Trainee)

Required Professional Experience:

• Basic understanding of advocacy, media sector, campaign and community-led development work
• Basic understanding of communication practices and products
• Basic coordination skills required
• Good experience on handling social media and media channels
  Basic knowledge in evidence gathering including photography, videography, story writing is desired.

Required Education, training, license, registration and certification:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, journalism, media studies, law, development studies or relevant degree preferred.

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications:

• Basic Knowledge on development facilitation in and with communities is desirable
• Strong critical and analytical thinking skills
• Basic facilitation skills, including catalyzing, connecting, and establishing coordination among the team members Experience in photography and videography is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong writing and speaking skills in English and Nepali
• Have a good learning attitude.
