Job Description:
Effectively manage the restaurant by ensuring the following:
- Greet guests and maintain a high profile in the Company lobby
- Be totally familiar with all the aspects of the Company and its facilities, including guest activity programs, rates and promotional packages
- Discuss daily activities with Asst. Manager /Executive chef
- To be completely familiar with all daily bookings and to identify regular and commercially important guests
- To be present in case of all VIP & Suite arrivals and escort them to the sitting area
- Assist Sales department as and when required
- Meet guests visiting the Restaurant
- Assist management with promotional activities
- Demonstrate Awareness of O&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within O&S guidelines and ensure your direct reports do the same
- Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures
- Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
- Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers
- Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements.
