Job Specification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, or health related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in community engagement, project implementation, data collection, and reporting, preferably in the development sector.
- Proven experience in implementing health programs, particularly in leprosy management, mental health support, MHM, and WASH.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities effectively.
- Experience in advocating for people with disabilities and promoting gender equality in community development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural sensitivity and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate and engage with diverse communities and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of leprosy, public health, livelihoods, gender equality, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability issues.
- Experience in facilitating training sessions, workshops, and community mobilization activities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritizes tasks, and manages time effectively in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Fluency in Nepali language, both written and spoken. Knowledge of English is an advantage.
- Familiarity with local contexts, customs, and cultures in Nawalpur and Nawalparasi districts is preferred.
- Two-wheeler driving license is required.
