We are hiring a Financial Empowerment Program Manager for our client, a mission-driven nonprofit organization committed to addressing financial instability and fostering long-term stability for underserved communities.

Candidate's Responsibility

• Program Development: Design and implement financial education and homebuyer programs tailored to underserved communities.
• Operations Management: Oversee participant onboarding, curriculum development, and program execution.
• Educational Delivery: Conduct one-on-one sessions, workshops, and webinars on budgeting, credit building, and debt management.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Align programs with participant needs and organizational goals.
• Partnership Building: Collaborate with local organizations, lenders, and housing agencies to enhance program reach.
• Impact Tracking: Monitor program outcomes, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with data privacy standards.
• Certification Achievement: Complete certifications (e.g., AFC or HUD counselor) within three months to bolster program credibility.

Qualifications

• Required:
• 5+ years of experience in financial program development, nonprofit management, or community development.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, credit, and debt management.
• Exceptional project management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to quickly learn and earn relevant certifications.
• Preferred:
• Familiarity with U.S. housing markets, mortgage options, and homebuyer programs.
• Experience working with underserved populations or low-income families.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Education, Social Work, or related fields.
