The position will be full-time and be based in Kathmandu with possible travel within Nepal. Citizens of Nepal are strongly encouraged to apply.
Academic Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience; or Master’s degree and 4 years of experience; or Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience; or High School diploma and 10 years of experience
- Degree in accounting, finance, management, business administration, or related field.
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience working on donor-funded projects in a related role and working experience in an accounting and/or financial field.
- Previous experience working in USAID, UN, or other donor-funded programs strongly preferred
- Proficiency in US Government procurement and financial reporting processes and requirements highly preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting systems e.g., QuickBooks.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office 365, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Resourcefulness, good planning skills, highly organized approach.
- Ability to multi-task and work well with others.
- Ability to listen and communicate well both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to conduct a range of administrative functions in cross-cultural contexts.
- Ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- High-level working proficiency in both spoken and written English.
