Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Assist with the check-in and check-out process efficiently and professionally.
- Manage reservations and ensure accurate data entry into the hotel’s reservation system.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and courteously.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room availability and guest satisfaction.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel policies and procedures.
- Assist in emergency situations and follow safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is preferred.
- Previous experience in a front office or customer service role is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
- Fluent in English and Nepali; additional languages are a plus.
- Friendly and approachable with a positive attitude.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
