Job Description:
- Plans and illustrates concepts by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetics.
- Develop concepts, graphics and layouts, including making decisions about fonts, images, readability and readers' needs.
- Coordinates with internal teams, including marketing and brand, and outside stakeholders.
- Ensures operation of design equipment and software by completing preventive maintenance requirements; and troubleshooting malfunctions.

- Collaborate closely with editors, journalists, photographers, and other team members to ensure that design elements complement editorial content and adhere to the newspaper's style guidelines.
