Position Title: Human Resources Director

Location: Kathmandu, Nepal

Unit: Agriculture, Resilience, and Water 

Reports To: DCOP/Operations

Education: Master’s or equivalent university degree in Management, Business Administration, or relevant field.

Required Experience and Skills:

• At least eight years of experience in a managerial role related to project human resources management. INGO experience is strongly preferred and/or experience on donor-funded projects.
• Excellent leadership and team collaboration abilities.
• Understanding of Nepal labor laws and compliance regulations.
• Experience maintaining Human Resources Information System management.
• Strong skills in conflict resolution and facilitating dialogue among staff and counterparts experiencing disagreements or difficulty working together.
• Demonstrated ability to follow standard practices and procedures, receive general instruction and supervision, and contribute to projects and initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain discretion and work with highly confidential and/or protected information required.
• Ability to handle routine administrative tasks and operational issues.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail, organization, and time management. 
• Should be a person of high integrity, and commitment to organizational values and principles.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Strong communication skills. Fluency in Nepali and English required.
