Skills and experience:

•  Understanding of the disaster risk reduction and the global humanitarian architecture.
•  3 years of experience in disaster risk reduction, humanitarian assistance, or emergen-cy response programming, with a focus on multi-sectoral projects.
• Experience working in Nepal is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and representation skills, with the ability to work effectively in humanitarian coordination groups and advisory capacities.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Strong oral and written communication skills; excellent demonstrated intercultural, in-terpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), conferencing applications, and Geographical Information System (GIS) applications.
• Ability to travel within Nepal as required and as security conditions allow.
