Key performance areas and main responsibilities:
- Reviews financial reports and liaises with internal and external auditors.
- Develops, implements, and monitors appropriate financial systems, procedures, and internal controls to ensure the efficient and
- effective operation of the finance function.
- Reports on financial performance and provides recommendations to management, advising on financial decisions.
Qualification, experience and skills:
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or an equivalent Accounting degree from a recognised educational institution, with a minimum of two years' experience as an Internal Auditor for donor-funded programmes or INGOs/NGOs. Preferably, the candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) or hold an ACCA qualification.
- Candidates should have a strong ability to assess situations or circumstances carefully and draw sound conclusions.
- S/he should have sound knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, as well as the laws, rules, and regulations of Nepal.
- Good communication skills in both English and Nepali, and proficiency in computer applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
- Experience working with children and young people will be an added advantage.
