Job Description:
- Prepare and process purchase orders in coordination with the procurement department.
- Receive, store, and issue goods as per organizational standards and procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using both manual and computerized systems.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate reordering processes when necessary to avoid shortages.
- Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile physical inventory with system records, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Identify reliable suppliers, obtain quotes, and negotiate favorable terms for purchasing.
- Coordinate the distribution of supplies from stock to ensure timely availability of goods.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of all goods to maintain their condition and prevent damage.
- Keep the storage area clean, well-organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Update stock location records regularly to optimize storage space.
- Prepare inventory reports and provide regular updates to management.
