Your responsibilities:
- Manage the installation and security of information technology components and system
- Install and maintain a local area network (LAN)
- Document installation and settings on the server and on each computer
- Establish proper back-up systems and ensure system security
- Ensure the functioning of all hardware (laptops, servers, desktop computers) in accordance with Welthungerhilfe standards
- Maintain printers, digital cameras, scanners and other hardware components
- Ensure smooth running of all software packages used at Welthungerhilfe office and continuously update all software to the latest versions
- Record updates in hardware and software (inventory)
- Solve hardware and software related problems
- Advise and train Welthungerhilfe staff in electronic data processing
- Recommend the purchase of new and upgrade of existing hardware/software components and systems
- Check Tickets on IT helpdesk and provide support to the issues raised.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar position preferably in NGO/INGOs
- Knowledge of networking (CISCO-MERAKI), hardware as well as software and CISCO certified preferred
- Familiarity with AI tools, automation, and other emerging technologies.
