Reports To: Program Director

 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Climate Change, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in climate change adaptation or community development.
  • Strong understanding of climate change issues and adaptation strategies, with a focus on mountainous or remote regions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders in Upper Mustang.
  • Proven experience in facilitating community participation and building local capacity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Experience in coordinating media or filming projects is an asset.
  • Fluency in English and Nepali; knowledge of local languages of Upper Mustang is a plus.
