Type of Contract: Yearly contract for four years

Deliverables:

• Identify training needs of community groups and model farmers in livelihoods and CCA
• Develop relevant and context specific training materials and programmes
• Plan together with Project Coordinator to align all activities with project logframe
• Conduct local level training with team leaders and community mobilisers
• Make sure community groups are able to understand One Health concept in the field
• Identify the training gaps and communicate to Project Coordinator
• Coordinate with other team members to assess suitability and effect of farming practices on income
• Monitor and evaluate the activity effectiveness in the responsible area.

Requirements:

• At least intermediate/+2 level education or above in relevant field eg Agriculture, Forestry, Livestock, Environmental Science, Natural resource management.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Be self-motivated and have ability to work with different stakeholders
• Ability to identify training needs, conduct training and monitor effectiveness of training in the communities
• Should have effective communications skills in local language and ability to deal with multiple stakeholders
• Proven experience in supervisory role
• Must be competent on Microsoft Office Windows applications
• Verbal and written communication skills in English and Nepali.
