Job Description:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and plans that align with organizational goals and objectives
- Analyze letter of credit and claims data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Communicate with suppliers for the required modifications with regards to the LC
- Making Payments Thru Telegraphic Transfers (TT) and RTGS from various banks
- Handling Documents related to LC and TT
- Preparing Local LC Claims
- Shipment tracking
- Manage and coordinate the transportation of goods, selecting transportation modes, and monitoring performance
- Oversee the management of inventory, monitoring inventory levels, and managing stock movement
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to logistics operations
- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and service providers
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all logistics-related documentation
- Manage the issuance, amendment, and cancellation of letters of credit in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Review and analyze letter of credit terms and conditions to ensure compliance with regulations and laws
- Coordinate with banks and other financial institutions to ensure timely processing of letters of credit
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and process improvements
- Investigate and resolve claims in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Communicate with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors regarding claims and claim resolution.
