Key Responsibilities:

  • M&E Framework Development: Develop and refine the M&E framework, tools, and processes for ongoing and new projects.
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Oversee data collection activities, ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of the data. Analyze data to assess program performance and impact.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular M&E reports to the Program Manager and other stakeholders, including donors and partners. Highlight key findings, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Capacity Building: Train and support project staff and partners in M&E concepts, tools, and practices to enhance data quality and utilization.
  • Document Management: Maintain and manage all organizational and project-related documents, including reports, proposals, meeting minutes, contracts, and other important records.
  • Archiving: Develop and implement a systematic archiving system, ensuring all documents are stored securely and can be retrieved easily when needed.
  • Reporting: Assist in the preparation of regular reports, including progress reports, annual reports, and donor reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Content Creation: Support the creation of content for publications, newsletters, and promotional materials, ensuring consistency with organizational messaging and branding.
  • Compliance: Ensure all documentation meets the organization’s standards and compliance requirements, including legal, donor, and regulatory obligations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Information Management, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2-5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably within an NGO or development sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in M&E methodologies, data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, STATA), and data visualization tools. Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of project management, logical frameworks, and results-based management (RBM).
  • Language: Excellent written and spoken communication skills in [Language requirements, e.g., English and Nepali].
  • Other Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team.
