What we are looking for:

MEAL and Documentation Officer supports flood and landslide response programme. The role is also involved in creating contents, stories and support in process documentation of project. The role is also accountable for the development of the monitoring and learning capacity of partners in line with capacity assessments and project plans and to strengthen the ability of projects to articulate achievements, challenges and learnings in a spirit of mutual accountability. We are looking for someone who have the following experience, knowledge and competencies;

• Bachelor’s in development studies or social sciences (Master’s degree is desirable)
• At least 3 years working experience in an I/NGO in MEAL and documentation related roles.
• Experience in building capacity of people and organizations.
• Experience of gathering, analyzing and presenting quantitative and qualitative data
• Proven knowledge of computerized systems; high degree of computer literacy and word processing and spreadsheet/Excel skills.
• Some experience of working for content creation, building documentary, photography, andvideography
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Proven ability to work effectively and constructively with others.
• Required to make sound judgements regularly within agreed processes using a good understanding of the team and the abilities of the team.
• Ability to analyse and communicate complex information to a wide range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrates creativity in seeking better ways to do things and shares with team while promoting high standards.
• Autonomous in finding solutions to problems.
• Successfully manages conflicting priorities.
