Supervisor: Chief Technical Advisor, TECSES Project

Competence, experience, skills, knowledge needed:

• Master’s degree in in Social Science, Development Studies, Economics, Statistics or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in supporting project implementation and MEL activities for a comparable international entity (INGO, donor-funded government project, bi-lateral or multi-lateral aid agencies).
• Experience in designing tools and strategies for quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis and production of reports.
• Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative monitoring methodologies and proven ability to design monitoring tools.
• Experience in the design and implementation of capacity building activities in MEL; Demonstrated ability to transfer knowledge through informal and formal training.
• Proficient computer literacy, specifically Excel, Word and Power Point; Skills in data analysis presentation and report writing in English.
• Knowledge and skills in quantitative and qualitative data analysis software.
• Demonstrated skill to analyse quantitative and qualitative data, combined with a proactive, energetic approach to problem solving.
• Good organization and planning skills; Experience working cross-culturally; Self-motivated, flexible and proactive, time management.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure in a structured, organized and responsive manner in an international working environment with multicultural team.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Nepali.
