Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Nepali language and literature, including reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary development.
- Teach social studies, covering topics such as history, geography, civics, economics, and cultural studies.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to make lessons interactive, informative, and relevant to students' lives.
- Assess and monitor student progress through regular quizzes, tests, assignments, and projects.
- Organize group activities, discussions, and projects to enhance students' understanding of social studies concepts.
- Integrate technology and multimedia resources to make lessons more engaging and accessible.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to update them on student progress and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to integrate cross-curricular learning opportunities.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nepali, Social Studies, Education, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven 3 years’ experience of teaching Nepali language, literature & Social Studies to middle school level.
- Experience using a variety of teaching methodologies and resources, including interactive and digital tools.
Skills:
- Knowledge of Nepali history, geography and culture.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational skills to manage lesson plans, assessments, and student records.
