Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the inventory team and ensure that all inventory-related activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future inventory needs based on sales trends and customer demand.
- Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure that inventory is stored and managed in a safe, organized, and efficient manner.
- Prepare delivery mechanisms for clients/ stores every time, on schedule, with the proper techniques, delivery timetables, pack orders, and route them.
- Sustain a high level of customer satisfaction through superior dispatching.
- Collaborate with the purchasing and merchandising teams to optimize product availability and minimize stock-outs and overstock.
- Analyze inventory reports and identify trends or issues, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Train and coach inventory team members on inventory management procedures and best practices
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems, such as cycle counting
- Do inventory audits to assess inventory requirements and levels in all stores.
- Ensure compliance with inventory management regulations, such as safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Communicate inventory-related information and metrics to senior management as needed.
- Manage returns to vendors in a timely manner.
- Coordinate schemes as per vendor requests.
