Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Program Specialist/HIV Prevention officer to plan, promote and present activities and MeroSathi-an online risk assessment tool through social media platforms.
  • Promote MeroSathi in social media platforms through local social media influencers.
  • Follow-up individuals who have booked for HIV services in MeroSathi and conduct online-offline outreach.
  • Update organizational social media platforms profile and engage virtually active individuals.
  • Explore and document active virtually active hotspots and anonymous groups.
  • Assist/support to develop and pre-testing of social media friendly promotional contents on Undetectable=Untransmittable (U=U), HIV self-testing, Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), community-led testing for HIV, and conduct social media campaigns and prepare report.
  •  Conduct community-led testing in coordination with clinical staff members for confirmatory test as needed.
  • Promote condoms and provide condom negotiation skills in the community, online outreach and community led testing for HIV.
  •  Support to implement LINK-assessment to receive feedback from beneficiaries.
  •  Ensure use of the digital information, education and communication (IEC) materials in mobile phone tablets.
  •  Support to conduct online outreach to support community-based supporters/peer Navigators/DIC operator.
  •  Maintain databases of the online outreach and other information, communications and technology-related activities.

 

Duty Station: Koshi province (Itahari)

 

Minimum Qualification:

  • Minimum Diploma or Intermediate passed from recognized Institute with minimum 2 years’ experience in PEPFAR supported HIV/AIDS, STI prevention program or 3 years’ experience in any other development sector.

 

Preferences:

  • Knowledge of MS word, PowerPoint, excel, email& Internet and ability of using various social media applications.
  • Knowledge of local languages will be beneficial.
  • Local candidate will be given priority.
  • Advantage of two wheelers driving license holder.
  • Flexibility of working in off-hours (beyond standard office time) as needed.
