Qualification | Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in hydropower plant operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of hydropower generation processes, equipment, and maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage overall plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable energy generation
• Lead maintenance activities to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Analyze plant performance data to identify and implement operational improvements
• Supervise and guide a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and support staff
• Ensure strict compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with external stakeholders, including local bodies, contractors, and vendors
• Drive innovation and improvements in plant systems and processes.
