Classification: General Service Staff, Grade-4

Type of Appointment: One Year Fixed Term Contract

Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in social science, Development Studies, Law, Migration or other related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience;

Or,

• High School degree with at least four years of relevant professional experience.

Experience:

• Experience in translation (both English/Nepali).
• Experience working in the field of humanitarian assistance or development.
• Experience working with UN agencies or NGOs will be an advantage.

Skills:

• Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook
• Knowledge of microenterprise and networking
• Skilful in coordination with beneficiaries
• Knowledge of Monitoring activities.

Languages: Fluency in English and Nepali is required (oral and written). Working knowledge of other local language is desirable.
