Project Manager – Health (Woman only)

Location: Rukum East Cluster, Rukumkot

Minimum qualifications and experience:

• Master’s degree in Public Health/Psychology with three years’ experience in integrated project management with a particular focus on Health System Strengthening, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support, and Maternal and Child health OR a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health/Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Science with five years’ experience in Health System Strengthening, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support, and Maternal and Child Health;
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of current health and mental health issues in Nepal;
• Strong experience in project management including planning, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, and developing proposals;
• Experience with integrated project management including economic development and protection issues ;
• Experience in participatory project designing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation;
• Familiar with current poverty eradication strategies, policies, and development practices in Nepal and globally;
• Experience in managing projects through a local partner organisation;
• Skilled in coordination and networking with local and district stakeholders;
• Experience working in remote areas within a cross-cultural environment;
• Excellent communication skills in Nepali and English language, both written and verbal.
