Locations: Changunarayan Municipality, Bagmati Province (1); Kageshwori Manohara Municipality, Bagmati Province (1); Pokhara Metropolitan City (1), Gandaki Province.

Duration: 1 year (with the possibility of extension).

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate collaboration and coordination with local municipalities, primary health care providers, and community health workers for the design and execution of planned project activities.
• Develop strategic plans and work packages to ensure effective implementation of project objectives.
• Identify and engage relevant stakeholders within the municipality and assist in establishing a technical advisory committee.
• Support the formation of a consumer advisory committee within the municipality.
• Organize and document regular meetings of the technical and consumer advisory committees.
• Conduct system assessments and analyze municipal data to identify individuals living with hypertension and diabetes.
• Assist in research activities, including data management and analysis.
• Collaborate closely with primary health care providers to develop and implement capacity-building initiatives.
• Conduct pre-testing of tools and facilitate semi-structured interviews with stakeholders.
• Monitor, support, and provide capacity building for research assistants involved in data collection and data management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or a related discipline.
• At least two years of experience in the public health sector.
• Strong data management skills.
• Fluency in both English and Nepali.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
