- 8 to 15 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in the Hydro sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and techniques
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera or Microsoft Project
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address project issues
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools such as MS Project.
- Define project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and integrate it with the projects master plan.
- Prepare and update baseline schedules, identify critical paths, and manage key milestones.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to align project schedules.
- Analyze resource requirements and optimize resource leveling for manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Forecast resource needs and identify potential constraints.
- Collaborate with civil, hydromechanical, and electromechanical teams to ensure synchronization of activities.
- Facilitate communication between contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Prepare and present reports to project stakeholders, including clients and regulatory bodies.
- Identify risks related to project scheduling, delays, and resources.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to avoid schedule slippage.
- Ensure project schedules comply with contractual and technical specifications.
- Maintain documentation of planning activities, including approvals, revisions, and meeting records.
