Province Manager (Only for Nepali citizens) – Open for All

Duty Station : Province headquarter of Sudur Paschim Province.

Minimum Education Attainment:

Master’s degree in development studies, social science, Business Management or in any relevant discipline.

Minimum Professional Experience:

Minimum 7 years of working experience in project/programme implementation with 3 years of working experience in a TVET sector with similar responsibilities with an experience managing finance, administration and human resources of the project. Working experience with industry associations/chambers will be an advantage.

Required Competencies:

• Believes in HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation’s value and development concept in dealing with multiple actors specially of the Province and Government Agencies
• Competent on providing technical assistance in market oriented TVET system
• Holds knowledge and commitment to support local governance and federal province building, especially local province building
• Familiarity with the functioning of the line agencies of the governments, civil societies, private sector and development partners
• Good understanding and skills for development management
• Demonstrated ability to work with multi-cultural team, a team player, and a coach
• Commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion and poverty reduction
• Able to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and programmatic competencies
• Excellent reporting and writing skills
• Result oriented mentality
• Strong communication and facilitating skills
• Proven understanding and knowledge of gender mainstreaming, social inclusion, and poverty reduction strategies
• Excellent written and oral communication in Nepali and English
• IT: Proficiency in using office application software.
