Interested individuals for the post of psychosocial counsellor should possess the following qualifications:

• The individual should be visually impaired.
• Bachelors running in any discipline, preferred in Psychology, Social Sciences, and having experience of 1 year or more in similar field.
• Experience in providing counseling and psychosocial support services to individuals with disabilities, preferably visually impaired individuals.
• Knowledge of mental health issues and psychosocial challenges faced by visually impaired individuals, as well as experience in addressing these challenges through counseling and support interventions.
• Familiarity with various counseling techniques and approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, supportive counseling, and trauma-informed care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust.
