Skills and abilities:

  • Competent in English and Nepali typing.
  • Training delivery and social mobilization.
  • Familiar with various computer software packages, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
  • Leadership Skill.
  • Documentation and management Skill.
  • Interested to work at community level.
  • Holding Motor Bike driving license will be considered as added value.

 

Appointment Type: Full Time for one year with possibility of extension.


Required Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Humanities/Sociology/Geography/Environmental Science/Public Health or related subject.

 

Experience: Minimum 5-year experience in similar positions.


Language required: English, Nepali and other local languages are preferable contextual to the Jajarkot and West Rukum.


Other requirement: Two-wheeler license

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating with the school management committee, teachers, and local-level government for Transitional Learning Center (TLC) construction.
  • Provide necessary support to implement program activities to strengthen education system that promotes to manage risks and improved school safety and inclusive education continuity management at program municipality.
  • Support to local governments on implementation of CSSMP.
  • Support to local governments for education cluster functions; coordination and reporting.
  • Provide technical support to conduct Emergency drill at program schools, prepare program progress report.
  • Support and capacitate local government and schools to develop and implement education sector emergency response plans including CSS components.
  • Support management, liaison and support orientations and training to LEUs, SMCs, Parents, Teachers and Students.
  • Support field program manager on coordination with provincial and local governments as well as other stakeholders.
  • Data management and reporting
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
