Job Description:

• Developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies that align with the overall and business strategy and objectives of the company
• Leading and managing the procurement team to ensure that procurement activities are carried out efficiently and effectively
• Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts and pricing agreements
• Working closely with other departments such as production, finance and logistics to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with their needs
• Collecting the important details of the supplier, such as the supplier’s qualifications, delivery times, potential development and products
• Preparing daily, weekly, monthly and annual report on purchases, including cost analyses and provide to senior management
• Ensuring that all procurement activities comply with relevant laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures
• Fixing terms and conditions of supply and negotiate the best deal for the company
• Developing and managing procurement budgets and ensuring that procurement activities are carried out within budget constraints
• Arranging for samples, testing and evaluation of new products
• Advising for purchase Order with the necessary documents
• Inspecting products received for quality and quantity
• Other duties as assigned by the Management.

Job Specifications:

• At least 15 years of working experience in integrated cement manufacturing plant in senior position
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Experience of using professional procurement tools and techniques and should possess sound knowledge of suppliers/materials management
• A high level of individual initiative, planning and good judgment
• Working knowledge of project management and scheduling, purchasing, inventory management and shipping process
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues.
• Must have good communication skill in English
• Well knowledge of computer and ERP applications.
